Paul Bunyan Lumberjacks

Pulaski Fest was pleased to feature the Paul Bunyan Lumberjack Show, which performed three shows on September 8, 2007.


Motorcycle Ride & Contest

The Pulaski County Christmas Store sponsored a motorcycle ride and contest. Registration for the ride and content began at 11 a.m. on September 8, 2007 at Maple Shade Plaza (corner of Washington Ave. and Commerce St.). The cost to ride was $10 and the donation of a toy to the Christmas Store. The ride will begin at noon followed by a motorcycle show and judging.

Live Music, Local Authors and Vendors

Pulaski Fest featured local musicians performing live at Jackson Park. In keeping with the area's Scots-Irish heritage, the Virginia Highlands Pipes and Drums band played at 1 p.m. People of all ages enjoyed some traditional Celtic music.

Pulaski County Farmers Market

The Farmers Market at the Historic Train Station featured the finest produce, goods and other local products. Whether you were looking for buffalo burgers, fresh baked bread, or local produce, you surely found it all at the Farmers Market!


Pulaski County Flea Market

Who doesn't like a good bargain? Festivalgoers found plenty of good deals at the Flea Market held at Maple Shade Plaza.


Historical Walking Tour

History buffs were treated to a guided a "walking tour" by Dr. John White to important historical sites in the historic downtown Pulaski area. The tour included a discussion about founding industries, early businesses, downtown architecture, the early diversity of the community, local churches, and the first neighborhoods.
